O365 public folder migration - Moving back to On Premise?

Hi Team,

looking at migrating to O365 for approximately 75 users spread out around the globe, with the majority (50) users in one office.  Currently using Public Folders pretty heavily and is working quite well.  The concerns we have are with the speed and access of Public Folders using O365 for all users from previous experiences from other clients.  Even when the public folders were cached, there was quite a delay in accessing these folders.
We want to be able to test the public folders hosted at O365, but then have a fall back if we decide to keep the folders on site.  Currently have 10 users trialing O365 and have it configured as  Hybrid deployment.  Does anybody know if it's possible to migrate Public Folders back from O365 to an on premise exchange server?
Apologies for the long post.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Possible, but only via export to PSTs or use of 3rd party tools. No 'built-in' method.
