port forwarding

I have modem/router by cable company and  1 port go to  Sonicwall TZ 205, another go to  switch and 2 DVr  (security cameras). my question is,  The switch connect to Modem, then  go to DVR (security cameras), I have to open port forwarding in Sonicwall TZ 205 or don't need?
Because when I check port forwarding by the internet show me closed!
If I have to open port, how I will setup because the Ip address  gateway and sub mask I use in DVR  is public!
I open the port the same of this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1T-iAblitw.

Please can you help me
Thank you

This setup will not work.

Normal scenario,   Intenet -- > Modem --> sonicwall --> switch --> workstation and camera

Modem will be in bridge mode and sonicwall will control all your traffic and this setup will help you to get access your camera from outside

Does the wan port in the sonicwall have a public or a private ip (private ip ranges 10.x.x.x, 172.16-31.x.x, 192.168.x.x)

If the sonicwall has the wan (outside) as private, you have to first open/port forward from the modem(router/firewall) to a port on the wan IP of the sonicwall, port

Internet. [modem port forward to sonicwall]<=>[sonicwall port forward to DVR/PVR of security device or camer.]<=>switch <=>LAN

Check with your provider on whether the modem can be setup in bridging mode in which case the public IP from the ISP provider will be assigned/set on the wan side of the sonicwall.
