ssh key copy

ssh keys have been generated with two files id_rsa and id_rsa.pub in /home/admin/.ssh

When I issue ssh-copy-id to copy the key to the other server, it pops out the error below. Any idea ?

ssh-copy-id admin@myweb01
/usr/bin/ssh-copy-id: ERROR: No identities found

What is the exact command you're using? Like this?

ssh-copy-id -i </path/to/key> admin@myweb01

You need to tell the /usr/bin/ssh-copy-id command where the identify file exists.

Try:

/usr/bin/ssh-copy-id -i /home/admin/.ssh/id_rsa.pub admin@myweb01

Also, if admin has root privileges or is any kind of privileged account, this is a bad idea from a security stand point.  Just figured I would point that out.
