How install OLEDB for Oracle XE 11g on Windows8.1?

Hello

i have an ultrabook with WIndows8.1 64bits

I have installed and uninstalled oracle11g, oracle12c 32bits and 64 bits

when i install oracle xe 11g 32bits, i can connect with sqlplus but i cannot connect with oledb

when i try to connect to oledb, i have the error "provider is no longer available. Ensure that the provider is installed properly."

I do not really understand, why it does not work, because normally oledb is installed with the installation of oracle.

I have done multiple search in google, and it seems that i should install ODAC

What tool/product/??? are you trying to use to connect with?

What products?  I don't believe the  OLEDB drivers are installed by default in some of them.

Download the correct client, make sure OleDB is selected?

If you download the full client and run the GUI installer, expand the drivers area (Not sure of the exact one), make sure OleDB is selected.

If you have the Instant Client or ODAC downloads, I think there is a config BAT file you need to run with the correct parameters.
