Time server on a non-domain virtual server

I'm building several servers that need to communicate with other exchange and SQL servers on our network.
These servers are virtual servers running on an ESX 5.5 hosts. What's the best way to make sure the time is setup to match the time on my Domain servers?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

by default domain members get their time from the primary domain controller

Yes, but as the subject says, this is a non-domain server

Open UDP port 123 for outgoing traffic on firewall if needed.
Open UDP port 123 (or a different port you have selected) for incoming NTP traffic.

configure a manual time source

w32tm /config /manualpeerlist: peers /syncfromflags:manual /update

where peers specifies the list of DNS names or IP addresses of the NTP time source(s) that the selected computer will synchronize from. When specifying multiple peers, use a space as the delimiter and enclose them in quotation marks.

Hi,
And if you rather set up an external time server there are many you could use, for example time servers from pool.ntp.org :
0.pool.ntp.org
1.pool.ntp.org
2.pool.ntp.org
3.pool.ntp.org
