ASP.net deploy

When I try to deploy my website onto localhost, which has a website already, \i get the following message

Error      1      Web deployment task failed. (This access control list is not in canonical form and therefore cannot be modified.)            0      0      JK20150730

In the Web Publishing Activity I find:
Transformed Web.config using D:\Sources\JK20150730\Web.Debug.config into C:\Users\John\AppData\Local\Temp\WebSitePublish\JK20150730--197374340\obj\Debug\TransformWebConfig\transformed\Web.config.
Auto ConnectionString Transformed Account\Web.config into C:\Users\John\AppData\Local\Temp\WebSitePublish\JK20150730--197374340\obj\Debug\CSAutoParameterize\transformed\Account\Web.config.
Auto ConnectionString Transformed C:\Users\John\AppData\Local\Temp\WebSitePublish\JK20150730--197374340\obj\Debug\TransformWebConfig\transformed\Web.config into C:\Users\John\AppData\Local\Temp\WebSitePublish\JK20150730--197374340\obj\Debug\CSAutoParameterize\transformed\Web.config.
Copying all files to temporary location below for package/publish:
C:\Users\John\AppData\Local\Temp\WebSitePublish\JK20150730--197374340\obj\Debug\Package\PackageTmp.
Creating application (Default Web Site/Traffic)
Adding ACL's for path (Default Web Site/Traffic)
C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\Microsoft\VisualStudio\v12.0\Web\Microsoft.Web.Publishing.targets(4270,5): Error : Web deployment task failed. (This access control list is not in canonical form and therefore cannot be modified.)
Publish failed to deploy.

it is because account is not having on the permisson from which you are trying to deploy. Kindly check the permissions

Hi Gaurav,

I opened Visual Studio 2013 by clicking on 'Run as Administrator', does this not give me the necessary permissions? If not can you please advise.
