hp laserjet m1319 mfp network printer and scanner

Hi Experts
I have hp laserjet m1319 mfp it's USB printer
i need to use it as network printer and scanner
i see on amazon a USB print server but i don't know if this print server will allow me to add a network scanner or i should search for a spacial print server allow print and scan over network

Most print servers don't give you scanning functionality. If they do, they will have a list of those printer models they work with.

If there is no HP print-server option made for that particular printer, it would be better just to get a printer with built-in NIC or WLAN adapter. Those support scanning vial LAN out of the box.

Another option would be to connect the printer to a Linux PC. With that you can make the printer and it's scanner functions available over the LAN. But that would mean you'd need to have that PC always running.

We have ESXi server on our office so create Linux PC always running not issue
But what's your suggest about this Linux ( i have a little knowledge abou Linux but i am googling well)

The printer part is easy, you just need to setup cups and share the printer. For the Scanner I have used the following link to get it running:

I also used an ESXi host running a VM of MakuluLinux XFCE that shares a Samsung CLX-3180 that way and it works fine.
