I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

There is not much to go on here. Make sure you did not Paste As Text in Word.

Try again and pull the Word Paste options down and make sure what you are pasting.

The image is probably too big for the page. I recommend resizing the image before inserting it in Word. There are many ways to do this — one is with the built-in Paint applet in W7. Open the image in Paint and click Resize on the ribbon. You'll get this:

Resize in Paint
I suggest using the Percentage feature, starting at 50%, and keep doing it until you get a size that fits nicely in Word with the whole image. Be sure to tick the Maintain aspect ratio check-box so that the image doesn't get skewed. Regards, Joe
