Limit application access to SQL server

I have a SQL server that hosts databases for multiple applications across the network. Some of the databases are related to SCCM 2012. This is the one that utilizes the SQL server the most. Is there a way to limit CPU usage for that specific database access? To be more clear, I want to make sure that the SCCM 2012 application doesn't take more than the fair share of the SQL server's CPU. I know you can manipulate it to some degree with the WSRM feature but all I can see over there is to control the entire sqlservr.exe process. I don't see any processes related specifically to SCCM

Thank you!

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

No, I don't believe you can do that.  You can't limit by a specific db(s).

use a different instance if you want to do some limiting.
