is it possible to detect if someone used TDD approach while coding

i wonder if it is possible if someone used TDD approach or not, because if i first write some code and then implement unit tests or if i do this vice versa, would that make a difference at all, i am trying to learn TDD but i wonder if i first write the code and the write the tests for it would not that be the same actually?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

TDD - Test Driven Design ?

No difference, but you know at each step that the code works. rather than it breaking 10,000 lines later and you having to go back and try and locate the error
