Windows forgetting / losing credentials

Hi

Quite few of our computers which are in Workgroups are losing the credentials for Outlook and network devices. in short, all the entries from Credential Manager (control userpasswords2) disappear. Doesn't matter how many times I will put it back in there. We have antivirus on all of those PCs with regular weekly scans. I have also run Malwarebytes scan on them. All plugins are up to date. Windows has all updates installed. Users are local admins. Computers affected are mainly Windows 7 x64 (not sure if it actually happened on 32 bit versions but quite possible).

Is there a fix for it?

Regards,
Tom

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

View your saved credentials and SET their persistence level to Enterprise

Go to Control panel > user accounts > Manage your credentials or if you use the native control panel view: Users accounts and family safety > user accounts > manage your credentials.

There wasn't particular option to set it to Enterprise, however, every time I was adding it through there it did set it to Enterprise so all ok.
