Outlook Certificate Error with public SSL Certificate

I have an exchange 2010 server.  I have installed a new public SSL Cert as the other one expired.  Found out that CAs are not issuing certs that include .local domains now.
How can I get around this with my on premise outlook users as they get cert errors when in office.

Any information will be greatly appreciated!

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Please follow my article to fix this.
you have to use your common name from both internet and intranet.

If not fixed please let me know
You use install the certiticate on all Exchange 2010 CAS server right? Have you enable the services? Having install the cert but not enable it services is pointless.

Run below cmdlet to verify the certicate being enable services

Get-ExchangeSertificate -Thumprint <new certificate thumprint> | Format-Table thumprint,services

To enable the services.

Enable-ExchangeCertificate -ThumPrint <new certificate thumprint> -Services IIS,SMTP,POP,IMAP

Yes I did assign services to cert. It works fine coming from outside the network. It's when coming from inside the network where the cert error comes up.
