Can't find ICA WebSockets policy on XenApp 6.5

Trying to setup StoreFront 3.0 in my existing XenApp 6.5 with Rollup 5 installed.   I am trying to follow http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX134948 to setup local access for HTML5 to test accessing apps from inside.   Looks like Citrix had removed the download.  Is there other places this group policy update is available for download or any other work around to make this policy to show up?  Thank you very much  in advance for your assistance.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You need to upgrade the version of the Group Policy Management and Group Policy Client-side extensions.  You probably have version 1.5 of both installed, which is the default versions installed with XenApp 6.5, and the roll-up packs do not update those components.  You also need to install XenApp 6.5 Feature Pack 2 or newer.  Feature Pack 3 was released June 30, 2015.  I haven't been able to confirm yet, but you may need Feature Pack 3 since you are using StoreFront 3.0.

Client-side extensions v 1.7.5.0 - https://ctxsupport.sharefile.com/d-s587c829bec64511a

Group Policy Management v 1.7.8.0 - https://ctxsupport.sharefile.com/d-sf28d082b1b34ac4a

At a minimum you need the client-side extensions on every XenApp server that will host a connection with the html5 client, and the Group Policy Management update on the server you manage the policies from.  Personally I'd deploy all 3 across the board to keep things consistent.

Brian,

Thanks for the reply.   I will try to install them later today during off hours since they are production servers.  Do have question on feature pack:
1.  I see feature pack 3 for Advance Edition has StoreFront 3.0 and web receivers and  Director 7.6.300.   Do I need these?

2.   Feature pack 2 download has a XA650w2k8R2X6438.msp along with HDXRTOptimzationpack, OpenGLAccelerator and profile Manager.   Do I need all of these? or more that I missed on this download?

Thanks again.

Director is a monitoring solution that will ultimately be replacing EdgeSight, so you don't need that for what you are trying to do.  It sounds like you have StoreFront 3.0 already, according to your first post.  The main thing you need is XA650w2k8R2X6438.msp, which has the code for the Web Sockets option that you need for the HTML5 Receiver.  The HDX and OpenGL are additional features and not required for HTML5 support.

Brian,

The DSC update link takes me to the same CitrixGroupPolicyManagement msi download.    Is this correct?   Thank you.
