Check to see if the add-on has an update.  Failing that, there isn't much you can do.

The code written for an earlier version of office obviously isn't compatible with the newer version.

Scanner is a CardScan 800c , is there a version of software/drivers for Office 2013

Can't tell from their site.  You might want to contact them to see.

As the thing that changed is the office version, they'd be the ones you want to talk to.
