Exchange 2010 some users signatures are missing all or parts of the signature.

I'm running Exchange 2010 and we are using GPO and a script to add signatures to emails.  The vast majority of users have no problem at all but I have a few that are missing all or part of their signature.  For example someone maybe missing a title while another may be missing a phone number.  There are a couple of others that are showing old data after AD has been updated.  These are happening across various versions of outlook from 2007 to 2013.  I can't find a pattern to help explain the problem.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You are deploying signatures at the client level?
Can I ask why? If you have Exchange then do it at the server level and disable signatures in the client via GPO. By doing it at the server level the signature will apply no matter what client is using - Outlook, OWA, ActiveSync etc.
It is also live, no pushing changes to clients. Therefore you only have to make a change in one place and it is used immediately.
You can either use a transport rule to do it, but if you want something more sophisticated, then a third party tool such as Exclaimer would be a better choice.

Your problem is most likely group policy related, but changing to server side signatures will eliminate that issue.

Simon.

Thanks Simon,

I'm not sure why it was done this way. I've just taken over as IT Operations Manager at this company less than a month ago.  There are a lot of questionable practices going on here that I'm going to have to clean up.   I'll look into the transport rules. That's the only way I've ever done signatures in the past but my Exchange Admin skills are a little rusty.  Time to brush up a little.
