Windows 10 Upgrade Question
I am using Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.
Where and how do I get the .ISO image of Windows 10 from Microsoft? They're saying that it's a free update, even if you're using a pirated copy of Windows 7. I don't want to "Upgrade using there logo at the bottom right side of the screen".
Where's the ,ISO link from Microsoft? I can't find it and what product key do people use if they're using a pirated copy of Windows 7?
I'm looking for the FULL RELEASE on July 29th 2015. NO BETAS.

"With Windows 10, although non-Genuine PCs may be able to upgrade to Windows 10, the upgrade will not change the genuine state of the license… If a device was considered non-genuine or mislicensed prior to the upgrade, that device will continue to be considered non-genuine or mislicensed after the upgrade.”
So basically if your are running a pirated version of Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 you will have the ability to update the software to Windows 10 but will not have a legitimate copy of the software.

I want to do a clean fresh install of Windows 10 for a friend.
We found out that his Windows 7 wasn't genuine.
If I want to do a clean fresh install of Windows 10, during the install, what serial number do I enter to get it installed and activated?
What if there's no serial number provided with the pirated Windows 7?

Just put in the Product ID as the serial when installing Windows 10?
In the middle of the Product ID it has xxxxx-OEM-xxxxxxx-xxxxxx
Include OEM when putting the serial?
Will this Product ID also activate Windows 10?

Show me where with proof that Microsoft retracted saying they're not allowing non-genuine copies to be upgraded.

AFAIK you need to upgrade from a prior Windows release first to be able to install fresh, and till yesterday there was no detail published about how to accomplish the latter, so it might be just a rumor.

So if you're upgrading from a pirated Windows 7 the Windows 10 will also be considered pirated?
How is one suppose to do a fresh install without a serial number? Even though Microsoft claims that it's a free upgrade to pirated copies as well?
