"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi masterofall,

I'd say Outlook is the best at reading large mailboxes. For large mailboxes I'd configure the profile for Online Mode opposed to Cached/Offline Mode. Depending on which version you have of Exchange OWA handles large mailboxes pretty well too.

Let me know if you have any more questions!

having large log files means that your backup is not working or not exchange aware.  the logs are not something you can open in a mail client.
