I am having no luck with that solution.  I make the change to the htaccess file, test, and receive a 500 error from my host server, which is Hostgator.  Running WordPress version 3.9.5; PHP version   Error received when trying to access site is "Error 500 - Internal Server Error."  Is there a solution?
