Delete Messages In a 365 Mailbox Older than X date

Trying the following:

get-mailbox -identity "" -resultsize "unlimited" | search-mailbox -SearchQuery "Received:<$(7/10/2013')" -deletecontent

Search-Mailbox -Identity "End User" -SearchQuery "Received:<$('07/10/2015')" -DeleteContent

The search kicks off - 0 results, 0 items deleted.

RunspaceId       :
Identity         : End User
TargetMailbox    :
Success          : True
TargetFolder     :
ResultItemsCount : 0
ResultItemsSize  : 0 B (0 bytes)

This end user has a TON of messages but they need everything deleted before 7/10/15....what am I missing?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
