Access - Specify Left/Right Origin of Sort in Long Integer

Is it possible to specify which side a Long Integer is sorted on? My field is sorting from Right to Left, but I would prefer vice versa Left to Right.

Thank you.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It is still not clear. How can you sort from left to right. When sorting it is usually in Ascending or Descending order. Can you elaborate? Can you show an example?
