"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Quickest method, is like this:-

connect-VIServer <vcenter server name or IP Address> -user <username> -password <password>

then set a variable

$v = get-vm <vmname> in your example

$v = get-vm vserver01

then execute $v

this will return Name, PowerState Num CPUs and Memory....

you can then build on that with

$v.name
$v.guest
$v.PowerState

what do you mean by runtime and configstatus ?

these are variables you can use...
