Hovering over JQuery's datatable

Using Jquery's datatable, how can I change the mouse to hand when hovering over the rows of the first 3 columns ?

If user hover over a row in the 4th or greater column, the cursor should change back to default.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

here we go:
$(document).ready(function() {
    var table = $('#example').DataTable();
    $('#example tbody')
        .on( 'mouseover', 'td', function () {
            var colIdx = table.cell(this).index().column;
            if ( colIdx >= 0 && colIdx < 3) {
                $( table.column( colIdx ).nodes() ).css( 'cursor','pointer');
        } )
        .on( 'mouseleave', function () {
            $( table.cells().nodes() ).css('cursor', 'auto');
        } );
