delete contents of the first cell of the last column of the first table using VBA

Dear Experts:

I would like to run a macro code that puts the cursor into ...
... the first cell of the last column of the first table in the current document (the document has dozens of tables) and ...
... clears any contents in that cell

Help is much appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.

Regards, Andreas

pls try

Sub macro()

Set MyCell = ActiveDocument.Tables(1).Rows(1).Cells(ActiveDocument.Tables(1).Rows(1).Cells.Count)
MyCell.Range.Text = Right(MyCell.Range.Text, 1)
End Sub

Sub macro()
With ActiveDocument.Tables(1).Rows(1).Cells
    Set MyCell = .Item(.Count)
    MyCell.Range.Text = Right(MyCell.Range.Text, 1)
End With
End Sub

'EDIT or

Sub macro()
With ActiveDocument.Tables(1).Columns
    Set myCell = .Item(.Count).Cells(1)
