Question is why is shadow copy / recovery limited to ~40days.<br />
The C-drive has 300+GB of space of a 500GB drive.<br />
Limit was changed to Unlimited shortly after installation yet the recovery span is ~44 days.<br />
This is the case on Two servers.<br />
Each the same hardware, installed a month apart, both set to unlimited both holding data referenced for the 44 day period.<br />
How to allow it to run to a greater time / quantity of copies?<br />
The D-drive is 4TB w/~3TB free.<br />
If I redirect the C-drive shadow copy to the D-drive will the VSS data now available on the c-drive be lost?
