Cisco IOS upgrade

Hi Guys,
I just used the following instructions to upgrade the IOS on a Cisco 3750 swtich.

And when I ran reload, the switch began to make a very loud noise,
And the console shows a series of letters particularly these

And it's been like that for like 5 minutes.
Is this normal?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Can anyone please help me!!!!
Seems like you put the wrong image on the switch

"With new IOS version you will see microcode getting updated which will take 30-45 minutes when switch booted first time but switch will take normal time to boot afterwards. Actually, The switches have a small MCU(MicroController Unit) to offload processing of some of the hardware interfaces like POE , Fan, power supply etc. (the actual details vary by SKU).Programming front end

microcode should only happen once when upgrading to a higher version with newer microcode.

So Lets wait once switch booted with wrong IOS, then change the IOS image."

The IOS isn't wrong, because it is the same version that is running in other 3 switches that are currently in production environment, but I didn't upgrade those, they were like that from before they were my responsibility.

But thinking about what your are saying the upgrade was from IOS 12 to IOS 15, so I think that's why the microcode was updated, and now all the noise and the 30 minutes it took makes sense.

At the present time, the switch finished with the upgrade and now seems to be running normally.
