Windows 10 Upgrade won't boot

I thought the upgrade from Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 10 was successful until it rebooted.  It now says Preparing Automatic Repair, Diagnosing Your PC, Automatic Repair couldn't repair your PC.  I've gone into advanced options and nothing works.  It won't roll back.  Of course my niece can't find her OEM OS CD's.

Does anyone have a magic bullet other than Auntie buying W7HP from MS?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

download the Windows 10 iso using the media creation tool and try reinstalling Win 10 again.  (don't worry about product key's (you will get prompted 2x  say skip or later) just ensure you install the non pro version of win 10
