How to use Preg_match in php to match phone number?

I want to use Preg_match in php to match phone number from my input. My expect result is to be like (885) 12 132 456 or 012 123 123 or 097 123 1447 if it not match to this it would show error message.

Very thank for your help.
In case you're interested in USA phone numbers, this has been studied a bit by PHP experts.  Here is how we do it.  Pro-tip: It's not as simple as finding numbers in the USA.
<?php // demo/validate_phone_numbers.php

/**
 * A FUNCTION TO VALIDATE A USA PHONE NUMBER AND RETURN A NORMALIZED STRING

 * MAN PAGE: http://www.nanpa.com/number_resource_info/index.html
