Windows Server 2008 R2 Grant access right to users folder on the network

Hi,

It has been a while i worked on my previous job as Administrator for Server 2008  and now I have to do this job again. I have the login credential for my Windows Server 2008 R2 and I can manage everything I forgot on how I can give access rights to my Users in regards their folders access right permission.

I am logged in to our Windows Server 2008 R2 and I have my AD open but i cannot remember how to access user folder and give them access rights. Can you guide me?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I mean, when i logged in the Windows Server 2008 R2, where should a go or use to see those folders?

I have Active directory running but i cannot remember to do a check to find those folders and give them user access right to it.

Computer Management (Local) -> System Tools -> Shared Folders -> Shares
