Intel Xeon E3-1220 V3 work with non-ecc


I've purchased a Gigabyte GA-Z97P-D3 moterboard and im looking at putting a Intel Xeon E3 V3 on this, do these series of Xeons support non-ecc memory?

The CPU itself can accept both, non and ecc ram.

Yes, it will work fine with non-ECC modules => in fact, you bought a board that uses a chipset that doesn't support ECC, so you don't have any choice.
