C# Windows Form Application

I add a function in my Windows Form Application to check the .net framework 4.5 exist or not. If not, go ahead install and then the app start and run.

Any way C# can let the exe file installed before the main program run.

As Éric stated, ClickOnce makes it easy... if you can use ClickOnce, which is not possible in all scenarios.

If you cannot use ClickOnce, let's consider the following.

If you application requires Windows 8, do you install it for your user. No, it is simply a prerequisite.

Although it might be preferable to install the framework along the application, In many situation, the framework should be considered the same way as the OS. Installing the framework from the Microsoft site is easy and does not take long, so simply tell you user that it is a prerequisite and point him to the required version installer on the Microsoft site.
