Netgear 6200 Wireless router with Comcast Arris TG862
I have comcast internet and they provided me with an Arris TG862 as a modem/wireless router.
I set it up to broadcast 2G & 5G
LAN side 192.168.1.1
This works.
Coverage is poor throughout the house so I would like to use a Netgear 6200 + extender.
I configure the 6200 LAN side as 192.168.1.182
When I connect teh Internet port of the 6200 to the Arris, the 6200 immediately flips to 10.0.0.1
How do I get the 6200 to connect (cat5) to the Arris and extend the wireless network? I don't care if the 6200 and the Arris broadcast the same or different wireles network names.
