Hi,
Server 2003 SP2, IIS6, would like to limit the upload of files to the web server to only allow certain file types so no *.exe, scripts etc` would be permitted.

Thanks.

It is not a function of iis but something you have to code in your upload control.

The upload control is built on ColdFusion, does anyone know how to configure this ?

Hello,

If you are concerned about server security if someone upload exe, bat, msi files, then don't worry about. IIS 6 by design installed with locked status so this types of file will ask to download instead execute on the server.

To answer your actual query, you should have to rely third party application which won't allow specified types of file storage on specified folder.
