I have a Windows 7 x64 client that I tried to upgrade to Windows 10. The compatibility check says the VMWare VGA driver is not compatible. Does anyone know if VMWare Workstation 11 supports Windows 10 client? If so how do I get around this warning?

VMware Player 7.1.2 uses the same base as VMware Workstation 11, and it supports Windows 10...

You can do the upgrade and then just install the VMware tools for your new OS.

It would appear to be an issue with the Microsoft Assessement Tool, VMware have advised Microsoft.

Simple fix, remove VMware Tools, Upgrade to Window 10, and then re-install VMware Tools. (if it's preventing you from upgrading!)
