SSRS report that is displayed on SharePoint site does not show on IE 9

The report does not show any data. We tried F12 and changed to IE8 and that is how we can view the report. Code used is compatible to IE7 and higher. <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=8;IE=9;IE=10;IE=Edge;" />

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You probably need to upgrade your SSRS SQL Server to a newer version: not all sql versions support all IE versions. Like for IE10 you need at least SQL 2012 (and SP1 to make some toolbar issues go away). Check this msdn page and select your current SSRS version in the "Other Versions" dropdown:
