query physical standby database with dblink
Hello,
I try to query physical standby database with dblink for monitoring :
ERROR:
ORA-01033: ORACLE initialization or shutdown in progress
Process ID: 0
Session ID: 0 Serial number: 0
How can I resolve?

Did you start the standby database?
Has it come up completely?
Log into the standby server and check the alert log.

It depends on what Data Guard options they have.

Read-only access to a physical standby database for production workload offloading
Even if it is the 'classic', I think you would need to have the standby server properly licensed to start it up for things like 'reporting'.
