Outlook 2010 issue

I have a user who, when clicks on the New-Email tab on Outlook, the window for creating new email opens and then closes immediately. It just disappears. It works fine when we reboot but after half hour the problem continues. I even gave that user a new computer, recreated outlook profile, disabled add-on, disabled the rules but nothing is working. Any ideas what might be wrong here? I made her use Outlook Web App for the time being.

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

could be a profile corruption problem.  How did you transfer the mailbox from one computer to the other?  If you copied the ost file that may be a problem.  On the other hand if you set up mail from scratch and let it download the email from the server you may be looking at a corrupt mailbox on the server.

I didnot copy the OST. I let it download from the server. So if the mailbox is corrupt, what do you suggest ?
Raymond PengSystems EngineerCommented:
Try moving the user to a new mailbox / new storage group on the server.

If the mailbox is corrupt and l33tf0b's suggestion does not work, you will probably need to restore the mailbox from backups.
