I wan to disconnect the office 365 / Essentials 2012R2 integration

I walked through the essentials 2012R2 integration with office 365.  It made the passwords requirements strong.  I don't want that at this point (We're not ready to move to office 365.  How do I break / reverse the integration so I can change the password requirements on the essentials server to a lower level

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can lower the password requirements in Office 365 as an Admin user.   Log in as an administrator and you can adjust the level of security for Office 365.
You do not need to undo the integration that you have completed.

If Office 365 you can only turn password complexity on or off, and you need to do that using powershell.

rich - how does the change on office 365 (web) get back to the Essentials server so the server knows to lighten up?

or is lion right?

If you go to Office 365 ADMIN and then to service settings you will see the section for passwords--changing complexity is not there. If you go to the Home page on Essentials Server and the Dash board you should see an option (not sure exactly where) to remove Office 365 integration--may require a reboot (see bottom of this page) https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj593240.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396#BKMK_Troubleshoot
