Deleting Excel Phantom Link to external workbook

I have a group of complex spreadsheets that always trigger a "This workbook contains links to other data sources" message when opened. When I open the Edit Links dialog, the phantom link shows the following
Location: https://[sharepoint website url]/Users/[user name]/AppData/Local/Micros.../8ALECRQY

I've tried:
-to break the link
-to change source to another workbook
-searched the entre workbook for formulaic links with "["
-deleted all Named Ranges, including hidden names using the Decision Models Name Manager utility
-searched for hidden objects with GoTo>Special>Obiects

I'm out of ideas. I've found no programmatic way to fix it using VBA. Anyone have any thoughts?

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

In the Edit Links dialogue box, have you tried clicking Startup Prompt, then selecting "Don't display the alert and don't update automatic links"?

If there's some phantom link that won't break (strange), maybe this will at least remove the annoyance until yo can locate/delete it?
