zimbra desktop client - '/Inbox' disabled due to error: Inconsistent UIDNEXT

One thing that sucks about zimbra community is how difficult it is to get help sometimes. Seems there are a lot of 'secrets' for lack of better word, things which are little known until discovered by some.

Anyhow, a Zimbra server suffered a crash and a two month old backup (don't ask) had to be used.
Once the old server was fired up, the desktop clients no longer communicated with it.

Can't seem to find an answer on this after searching for two days now. Help!!!

The answer is to delete all of the accounts in the desktop client, then re-create them. At the time of this posting, there was no other way of doing it. You can of course, move all of your email to a temp folder, then move it back later.
