Search not Working in OWA exchange 2010

Hi All,

Our clients Exchange server 2010 on 2008 R2 Std, the OWA search function is not working, when we Search using names where we would expect to see many items is showing no results (e.g. searching on Joe Blogs or Dave Smith, using entire mailbox, no returns).

Any ideas why this is happening would be appreciated.

Many thanks

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

For this specifically if the Catalog Directory for a specific database is corrupt, you need to use the resetsearchindex.ps1 script.

See the below link for details. (link below is specifically states 2007 however this is the same for 2010)
