Outlook PST

Hi All

I have a nightmare and hope some one can make a suggestion. I had outlook as a profile, I created a second profile with my new email provider. I attached the old PST into the new profile and started to drag and drop from the old PST within outlook to the new inbox. Soothing when wrong, I see the folders in the new inbox but no email.  I cant see anything in the old attached PST and don't know what do do any ideas how I can recover from the. I didn't back up outlook, I don't have a backup of the laptop! I think I am about to learn the hard way.

First, I suggest you check the size of the PST file to see if there is an issue with the archived process of your PST file. Does your PST file contain any information? To make sure:

1) Open your PST file folder.

2) Right-click on the PST file.

3) Select the properties and select the details tab to verify the size of your mailbox.

If you are satisfied with the results and the file size is correct, then you can be sure from the beginning that your PST file could be corrupted, and to fix it, you can try ScanPST.exe (the Microsoft Inbox repair tool) to repair the corrupt PST file. This free tool can fix common PST corruption errors.
