Hi All

I have a nightmare and hope some one can make a suggestion. I had outlook as a profile, I created a second profile with my new email provider. I attached the old PST into the new profile and started to drag and drop from the old PST within outlook to the new inbox. Soothing when wrong, I see the folders in the new inbox but no email.  I cant see anything in the old attached PST and don't know what do do any ideas how I can recover from the. I didn't back up outlook, I don't have a backup of the laptop! I think I am about to learn the hard way.

Depending on how long ago you deleted, and how much longer the PST file was open in Outlook, you may be out of luck.
PST files in general, need to be backed up by you, since mostly they're quite big, and there won't be any Shadow Copies available.
Right now, following the free tips on this page is your best course of action:

Follow the intructions for the free way (use a copied PST file, not the original!), and if it didn't work, opt for paid software instead (see also in the article).
