Offline File Sync GPO Windows 2008 R2

Hi All,

I am trying to setup offline file sync GPO.  I know that there are 2 places that have to be configured:

 - User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Network\Offline Files
 - Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Network\Offline File

The part that I do not understand is how to force offline sync with specific directories or if there are already specific directories that is automatically synced.  I know users can choose which folders to sync but I am not sure if they have to do the selection

Thank you for your help in advance

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

By default, redirected folders are automatically cached. You can use the specify additional locations setting in the Network\Offline Files location to enter a custom UNC path to cache.
