Adding EmployeeID or EmployeeNumber to Active Directory
How does one go about adding an EmployeeID or EmployeeNumber attribute to an existing Windows 2012 R2 Active Directory ? Is that an attribute that already exists and just had to be 'un-hidden' with an AD editor ? Or is this an attribute that has to be manually added ?
This MSDN page seems to list it, but when a CSVDE export is done it does not seem to appear:
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms675663(v=vs.85).aspx
This attribute does not have to show-up in the ADUC (which appears to be a more complex process) but only has to be added as an attribute to the AD schema and able to have data imported and exported into it with CSVDE and other command line tools.
TIA,
