SSIS Package error SQL version

Hi,

I am not the DBA, but a project is falling behind due to SSIS error messages.  I have attached a PDF copy of the error.  The task is failing, when it should be creating an excel file, .XLS.

Can anyone give me some general direction with where to point the developers?  SQL version 2008 R2.

Thanks for any help that cant get us moving toward the finish line!

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hello,

It seems that the SQL server agent is unable to access the excel file location / file.

Give rights to the file location to the sql server agent owner account.

Hope this would help

You are using "Microsoft JET Database Engine" to access an Excel file. You should use Microsoft Excel driver for that.
