network authentication fails when trying to connect to wifi

I just finished setting up a new dell xps 9343 on windows 7 64bit ENT os.
Joined the domain and everything was working fine. I was able to connect to the wireless network using network authentication.
after rebooting I tried to connect to the wireless network again. it will usually prompt for username and password, but now I keep getting this message... " windows was unable to connect to sidd name" troubleshooting couldn't identify problem. any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe the wi-fi has changed the last authentication configuration
Remove the current wifi connection for that SSID from

Control panel => Network sharing center => Manage wireless networks

And then try to connect again (you will be prompted to enter the password again)

I tried that, the wireless sidd is not saved at all. Windows restore fixed the problem for me. it must have been some type of software that was installed. it's now working.
