More than 50 radius clients

I tried to add a new network switch to the radius client list in NPS on our server 2008 R2 standard system, but it appears that it doesn't want to add anymore. I found out that NPS on windows server 2008 R2 standard doesn't support more than 50 radius clients, but I really need to add this new switch. Is there really no way around this 50 radius client limit? Are there any alternatives? Thank you.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

There really are no workarounds. You need to run Enterprise instead of Standard.

I'd install a new box then move everything over and point all your switches, etc, to it.

This restriction to 50 clients was removed in Windows 2012 Standard, so upgrading is your best option.

You can upgrade to Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise or Datacenter.

You can add another Windows server and use it for some of your devices.

Finally,  you can use something other than NPS.
