It's no longer a type="submit" when you undo the use submit behavior.  View the source and see what type of html is rendered.

Thank you for your reply.
I think it says button. What should I do to apply the styles.

 <td><input type="button" name="ctl00$mainContentPlaceHolder$btnAddBom" value="Add" onclick="DisableButtons();__doPostBack(&#39;ctl00$mainContentPlaceHolder$btnAddBom&#39;,&#39;&#39;)" id="mainContentPlaceHolder_btnAddBom" /></td>

You can append the same style to both:

input[type="submit"] , input[type="button"]
{
    border: 2px solid white;
    background-color:rgb(128, 128, 128);
    border-radius :5px;
    width:130px;
    height:35px;
    }
