Thank you I was able to do it with no problem thanks to your instructions. One more questions.

I am new to office 365. and I can certainly open a new questions for this if you like to gain more points. This is the question;

This person has two Outlook. One installed locally in his laptop which has his business email attached and one outlook on the cloud (The outlook 365) which has his personal email. he is asking to combine the two email on his outlook 365 on the cloud. how can I do that ? can someone provide step by step instruction please ? Can I backup his local PST and imported in his outlook 365 in the cloud ?

Thank you
I assume the old account is no longer getting mail since the MX records are pointing to Office 365? If so, and you need to just merge the data, then yes you can export all items to a PST and import in the 365 mailbox all via Outlook
Hello Justin,

the 1st email account which has her business email is on the local outlook and is working great.
the 2nd email account which has her personal email is already on office 365 and is also working great.

She asked me to merge the two. basically take the 1st account which has her business email and is local an add it to the office 365 in the cloud.

she basically wants to have beside the emails also  all the contact in the cloud. which I should be able to accomplish simply exporting her PST file and importing it in outlook 365.

Question Justin: how can I know if the local outlook belong to her or if that local outlook belong to office 365 and she downloaded form the cloud ?
so are we dealing with two different domains here or just one? If two, does she own both domains or are they free based like gmail?
Yes two domains one is her personal hotmail account one is her business account. For now I only backed up her pst as soon as she is back I will add the second account in her office 365z actually j will import her pst bat I just backed up to her outlook 365
Thank you both of you for you help.
