Exec sp_updatestats

Hi ,

I have run following command Exec sp_updatestats and i stoped. becuase its run mistakenly.
I just wondering any impact will come becuase of stop or run .
Any idea i'll appriciate.

if you stopped it, the transaction rolls back, so it's like nothing was done.

I stoped with in 1 minute, and the results showing , as soon as I run wrong command.

I got some several messages like this
3 index(es)/statistic(s) have been updated, 23 did not require update.

those stats then have been updated, as far as I know each step there is commited

no. having stats updated is normally a good thing (so far I never heard of stats being updated having negetive impact)
