How can I connect a bluetooth headset to Windows 7 on a laptop to then connect with a software voip phone?
I have a laptop running Windows 7
I have a plantronics bluetooth headset
I have a software program that connects to a 8x8 softphone
I want to uses the softphone when I travel
I need to set up the bluetooth to be the "audio" for windows 7 to connect to the softphone
Need to know how to do it.

Assuming your laptop has Bluetooth capability, just connect the headset to the laptop and set the VoIP application's preferences to use the headset as the audio and mic sources. If the app doesn't allow that you can set the defaults in Windows via the Control Panel.
